One of my biggest face frustrations is concealing my under-eye area, which is naturally dark and dehydrated. Boots Beauty Haul

Our darling friend Charlotte is arriving from London next week, so I took the liberty of putting in a sneaky Boots order. Full reviews to follow, but in the meantime, here’s a run down of what I ordered: Hydraluron Moisture Booster Hyaluronic acid is found in the body and is responsible for maintaining moisture levels in the top layer of the skin. We produce it naturally, but it becomes more difficult as we get older (sigh). Jules’ Face of the Day #1

Today I have a couple of meetings so I have a little more make-up on that I usually do when I work at home all day. Skin is smoothed over with a sheer coverage BB cream and I’ve used a cream blush in peachy tones (which works with my lipstick of choice) to keep the look fresh and dewy. Mooi Hair & Beauty Salon is a beautiful, vintage-style pamper parlour in Tamboerskloof, Cape Town, run by the lovely sisters Karen and Andret.
